Our Adoption Process

The purpose of an application is to find suitable fosters and homes for our rescue animals. In order to do so, we need information about your background, family dynamics, and plans to care for the intended pet.

Submitting an application does NOT obligate you to foster or adopt nor does it secure an animal in your name. Age 25 is our minimum age limit for adopters.

Part of the adoptions process will include an informal home visit in person or via live video chat to ensure a safe environment for your new family member. We are happy to help you to improve safety issues and answer any of your questions.

Once your application is submitted you will be  assigned a team member with the goal of helping you find the perfect pet.

Every step through the adoption process should take less than a week from start to finish. Let’s make your adoption a great experience.

$300.00

Payment of the adoption fee and an approved application will secure an animal in your name. You may pay the adoption fee by hitting the “Donate” button below.

Adoption FAQ

  • The adoption fee for each dog is $300. We rely solely on donations, adoption fees, and fundraisers to enable us to continue rescuing homeless pets.

  • We do an in-person home visit whenever possible or a Facetime/Video Chat home visit.

  • When an application is approved for a particular dog of interest, it is possible that there other applications for the same dog ahead of yours. If this is the case we will keep you informed and updated on the status of your application.

  • We have adoption events where you are able to meet adoptable pets. In addition, we have many dogs and puppies in foster homes. Once your application is reviewed we will arrange a meet and greet.

  • We try to complete the review of all applications within 48 hours. Once you submit your application, you can expect to hear from a volunteer adoption counselor to let you know that it is being reviewed and to schedule a phone interview.
